Blocks are always a great gift for little hands. For little ones under one, Infantino Squeeze and Stack Block Set ($10.99) make a great gift! These blocks are bright in color and squeezable. Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby’s First Blocks ($9.99) are one of my son’s favorites. These blocks are fun to bang together as an infant, and grow with him as he begins sorting shapes and matching up puzzles.
2. Teething Toys
Teething begins at a different age for every child, but when it begins, parents are going to want those teething toys available right away! Our favorite was Vulli Sophie the Giraffe Teether ($25.00). Sophie is especially designed to soothe and comfort teething gums, and it worked like magic with our little guy!

4. Little Tikes Discover Sounds Sports Center
The Little Tikes Discover Sounds Sports Center ($29.99) is a fun mini-playset that introduces your little one to basketball, baseball, and football. The crowd will cheer along as your infant discovers how to put a ball through the hoop too! Both my son and Godson have enjoyed this toy!
5. Playskool Busy Poppin’ Pals Toy
The Playskool Busy Poppin’ Pals Toy ($18.99) was one of my son’s favorite toys at daycare, so we had to get one for our home! As babies are learning peek-a-boo, this toy takes that to another level with the fun animals hiding inside. It also helps motor development with the fun knobs that are pressed, twisted, and turned to reveal the animals inside.
6. Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Poppity-Pop Musical Dino
The Fisher-Price Go Baby Go Poppity-Pop Musical Dino ($29.99) is a fun toy with silly noises. The dino pops the colorful balls up and down while playing music, which encourages and rewards the infant.
7. Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Crawl Around Car
As baby gets more mobile, Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Crawl Around Car ($59.99) helps to encourage crawling and sitting up. It also introduces your infant to numbers, letters, shapes, and words. Our son still loves crawling in this toy and pushing all the different buttons!
8. Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Learning Workbench
The Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Learning Workbench ($27.99) is another great fun, musical play toy that our son loved as an infant! He loved noisy, musical toys!
9. Fisher-Price Piano Gym, Kick and Play
As an infant, Patrick enjoyed the Fisher-Price Piano Gym, Kick and Play ($49.99) He loved the music that played when he kicked the piano, as well as playing with the toys hanging around him. Last month we were visiting a friend with a young infant who happened to have the toy as well, and Patrick was focused on playing with it the entire time we were there!
10. Baby Einstein Baby Neptune Ocean Orchestra Musical Toy
The Baby Einstein Baby Neptune Ocean Orchestra Musical Toy ($19.99) is a fun musical toy that encourages tummy time and sitting up. Hitting the different buttons on the turtle’s shell creates a musical light-show for the infant to enjoy!
11. Mini-Board Book Library
We love Usborne Books & More! I became an independent consultant with the company about 6 months ago. There are so many great titles for a variety of ages. For little hands, the mini-board book libraries make a great gift or stocking stuffer! Baby’s Very First Little Library ($7.99) and the Big Little Box Set ($7.99) are two of these collections that your little one will love!
12. Touchy-Feely Books
Touchy-Feely books are prefect for curious infants as they begin to discover different textures. Usborne’s Baby’s Very First Touchy-Feely Animals Book ($7.99) and Baby’s Very First Touchy-Feely Play Book ($12.99) are sure to be favorites!
