Bookroo Subscription Box Review

My 2 year-old is a major bookworm. He has loved books since he was 2 months old, and we have built quite a library. However, most of the books that we have collected are board books, and he is starting to outgrow them. We were excited to come across Bookroo, a monthly subscription box for kids that sends new books to your door each month. This was a great way to begin to grow our picture book collection each month!

Bookroo Subcription Box Review

How does Bookroo work?

There are so many subscription boxes out there these days, but what I love about Bookroo is that it sends new and age-appropriate books to our door every month. These are fun titles that I might not have picked out on my own, but are selected with care by the Bookroo Crew. You select either board books (best for ages 0-3) or picture books (best for ages 2-6+), the subscription plan you want (starting at $17.50), then wait for your books to arrive! Once a month, you get a box with books wrapped in fun paper, ready for your child to open and enjoy! The box includes either 3 board books or 2 picture books based on the option you choose. We were so excited for our box to arrive!

July’s Box

Bookroo July

In our first box, we received The Bear Who Shared by Catherine Rayner and Dream Away by Julia Durango and Katie Belle Trupiano. These were two totally new titles for us, and we were excited to read them with Patrick. They were both perfect for what we are focusing on currently with our 2 year-old: sharing and bedtime.

August Box

For our second month, we received Hugless Douglas and the Big Sleep-Over by David Melling and Pirate Nap by Danna Smith. These books were so much fun! The story of Douglas the bear was silly and fun to read. Patrick is really into pirates right now, and they are working on colors at his daycare, so he was a big fan of Pirate Nap.
