Every summer, our backyard turns into a battle zone. We struggle to grow grass, get our landscaping done, and keep our plants alive. We plan to spend a lot of time outside this year because our son LOVES playing outside, so we decided we needed to make our outdoor projects a priority. The first project we tackled was giving the patio a make-over. Turning our patio from an eye-sore to someplace we enjoy spending our summer days and nights was made so much easier with the help of Petitti Garden Centers!

Excited to tackle our first outdoor project, we headed to Petitti’s Garden Center in Richmond Heights to find the supplies we needed to turn our patio into a functional space, that was also nice to look at. I never realized there was a garden center hidden behind the Richmond Town Square Mall, but it was a pleasant surprise!
There were so many bright colors greeting us as we entered the garden center. Friendly staff greeted us around every turn asking if we needed assistance, knew about the specials going on, or if we had any questions. We explored and gazed at the beautiful plants and flowers around us until we finally had to narrow down the choices and make some decisions!
We were excited to get home and beautify our patio! We got everything we needed from Petittis for just $100! We went the the garage to find any random items we might have that we could reuse in our patio make-over. We found some flower pots, a metal washtub, an old kitchen cart, and a discarded piece of white lattice that we could upcycle, among the items. in our garage Here are some before pictures of what we were working with!
