It has been a few weeks since I first posted about getting serious about losing weight! Since then, I haven’t made a lot of progress. Life, parties, toddler tantrums, and a stomach bug have got in the way. However I am back at it this week, and ready this work-out and weight-loss on! I am starting the Ready, Set, Fitness Challenge! Since I posted about starting this journey weeks ago, my progress and effort have been lacking. I have done my Fit Tutor
program workouts a handful of times (OK 3 times) and made it to the YMCA a couple of times (OK once). I am down a few pounds, but I attribute that to the stomach bug I recently got over.
I am back and ready to go now! I will be checking in on Mondays with my latest progress, plus the next week’s workout plan. I will also share other tidbits, such as goals, workouts, and healthy recipe ideas. I hope you will take this journey with me! I completed my beginner workout today! My cardio days are going to be spend on the treadmill at the YMCA. I’ve got to get ready for the #BT5K
coming up in June!
The hardest part of working out is finding the time! There never seems to be enough of it. However, you have to get creative! I realized that if I head straight home or to the YMCA after work, I can have a full hour to myself before Dave and Patrick get home! I may be exhausted from teaching all day, but this is my window of time, and I am going to take advantage of it!
